CAN ANYTHING GOOD ACTUALLY COME OUT BEING FAKE?
Have you noticed how many lives beingv wasted daily just because they want to live big at the expense of their dignity and value? Hypocrisy is a cankerworm that has eaten deep into our individual lives and we have practically avoided the topic thereby making us want to live one kind fake life that we cannot be able to measure up to.
Now I know some persons are thinking that "what is this one talking about now", there is an adage in Yoruba that says "two persons don't loose lies at the same time, if the one being lied to does not know, the one lieing would surely know". Why live fake when you can create the best version of yourself who people can look up to?
Why must you live in debt because you want to meet someone's standard? Does the person's standard determines anything in your life? Your life should be more important to you more than any other thing.
Many average people eat away their destiny in restaurants that are not meant for their calibre of people; you want to dress like a rich man when you neither have any stable source of income nor any savings. Please who do you want to form for? Big boys or big girls are not known by clothes or phones but by their assets and their intellect.
Have you sat down to read about the under 30 Nigerian Billionaires or read about the richest young person in the world, Kylie Jenner? But here you are with virtually nothing and you keep on shouting " I am a big boy or girl" up and down without nothing to show for it.
See! Sit down and think; wear the cloth you can afford, the shoe you can afford, the phone you can afford and stop forming on your tattered big boyism or girlsim (if allowed). Don't say because you want to meet someone's standard which was not set for anyone and kill yourself. Be contended and work hard to be the best you can be.
Save and invest no matter how little it may be, one day you will look back and smile.
Know that you are not in the world to compete with anyone and even when you make the money, spend wisely so that it would bring in more money, it is foolish to have #100 as your savings and you spend #90 on something not profitable. Be a profitable person and not a waster. Be wise and not Foolish.
YOU CAN BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF.
