                                                                         Julchit Fatima Dadi

                                                    (Spiritual Marketing and Mindset Coach)

To all our esteemed readers who have been following us since the episode 1, thank you for all the love, we appreciate. Let us welcome the guest of episode 10 of Chat With temidada.

Please can we meet you?

Julchit: Hi!  My name is Julchit Fatima Dadi, I am a spiritual marketing and mindset coach, and the founder of Jazz Entrepreneur. I started as a social media manager in 2015 and after a few failures and disappointments as a person, in 2018, I quit everything and went to search for answers.

Can we know about your family background?

Julchit: I come from a closely knit family. My Dad is Taroh from Plateau state and my Mum is Yoruba. I am the last child of 4 kids and also the only girl. I have had people conclude that because I am the only girl and last born then I was pampered, but that was never the case. My mum isn't one to pamper anyone.

Can we know about your academics?

Julchit: After secondary school, I went for Java Programming training in NIIT Lagos.

After that I applied to University of Jos and NTA College, Jos. NTA College admission came in first in 2009, so I took that because I wanted to leave the house.

It was at NTA College I started my journey towards film production. I was doing Diploma in TV production and I loved the experience.

After my Diploma in 2011, I attended a 3 day seminar on Photography and photo manipulation using Photoshop. That was also a beautiful experience for me. I attended several film production Trainings afterwards.

I taught myself social media marketing, because I was fascinated with the platforms and how people were making money from it. So I read tons of articles, watched videos and implemented what I learnt from them. That was how my social media journey started at the end of year 2015.

You said spiritual marketing? Can you explain that?

Julchit: I can say spiritual marketing actually, due to the studies I have done into understanding what marketing really is. I found out that it is more than just doing activities. Marketing is more spiritual than most people realize. For example, people think that once they get a new strategy, then their marketing campaigns will go fine. But that's hardly ever the case.

A simple thing as unbelief in your success can jeopardise your entire campaign. That's why I have come to understand that marketing is spiritual, and I expose and teach my clients the spiritual side of marketing.

Can you tell us what social media managing is all about?

Julchit: Social media managing is really about helping brands handle their social media platforms to achieve set goals. It is about taking the stress of the person and helping them have more free time, because social media management is time consuming. The good thing now is that we have some software that can automate some of those activities.

You said you had some major failures while starting out; can you tell us about them?

Julchit: Yeah! So while I was earning some money from handling pages for a few people, I had no clue about how to manage, preserve and multiply money, by the end of the month, I'd be broke.

Also, I undervalued myself and didn't believe what I was worth, so I undercharged my services. Because I needed to make money, I was taking on more jobs than I could handle as one person, as I couldn't hire anyone. I couldn't leverage other services that would make the business run easier.

All that got me frustrated, confused and unhappy. I was consistently giving value but not making the equivalent cash. By 2018, I was tired.

So what did you do to salvage that situation?

Julchit: I got myself into a mentoring community. That's where I started learning about wealth creation, the laws of wealth, how to build a generational business etc. It is during that time I found the reasons I wasn't doing great.

What was your parents’ reaction to your choice of career while starting?

Julchit: My parents did their best according to what they knew to discourage me. But I've had to be stubborn about my choices.

Who are those you have worked with and those you are still working with?

Julchit: I've  worked with Chocolate City Music (Gbagada branch),  Reinhard Tega, Mamza Beauty (Abuja) - still a Client,  Ruby Gyang (artist-preneur),  Innerhub Productions (U.S.A), The Little Bake Store, Ntanta Delicacies, Aggital, Merignos Consulting among others.

What are the principle of life you live by while delivering your services?

Julchit: Value is currency, and knowing how to exchange that value is how you can impact multiple people and build a business.

Also, understanding your own worth is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

What are the challenges attached to being a social media manager?

Julchit: This is a good question. From my experience, I would say the biggest challenge is unclear outlook of what you offer and not understanding how to use leverage on it.

So where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Julchit: In the next 5 years, I'll have accomplished a part of my vision by impacting the lives of at least 5000 entrepreneurs.

How do you plan to achieve that?

Julchit: Through my group coaching programs, online trainings and other events we would be hosting.

What would be your advice to the Nigeria youth?

Julchit: Learn about the power of the mind. And read books or audio books on mindset. That's my strong advice.

Thanks for coming on the show, we are grateful and we wish you all the best in life.

Julchit: Thank you for having me, I appreciate.

Tip: Invest in developing positive mindset, because the mind runs the activity of the whole body. Learn to develop your mind daily in line with your goals and vision in life.
