Never Look Down on Yourself!!!

Life has not given us more luxuries of having people hype us that much. Everyone fights for himself, so worry not if you have no cheerleader, or if you only have people who puts you down.

Selfishness runs in the blood of virtually every human being who still lives; everyone puts themselves first because we are all competitive in nature. So, if you are finding it hard to push yourself then you need this.

We can be our own biggest motivators when we feel happy and are content with how things are going. But we can also be our own biggest critics. We notice everything about ourselves that is changing, every crack and crevice.

My point is that no matter how you're feeling at certain stages in life, one day, you'll be sitting on the couch as a 30-year-old, thinking back to your junior high self and realizing it wasn't that bad. I should have just loved myself rather than beating myself up about everything. One day you'll look back and realize all of the times that you felt bad about yourself could have gone differently if you would have just realized that the way you feel about yourself right now isn't going to last forever.

Always love yourself for who you are. Always love yourself no matter what body weight you are, no matter what your eyebrows look like, no matter what, just love yourself, damnit. Because you are always worth it and a year from now you'll look back and think why did I feel that way?

  1. This is a great and concise piece! Well done temidada, you nailed every bit of it. I strongly believe that accepting who you are is the greatest freedom anyone can have, why??
Sometimes, Reality and our expectations may not match. It then boils down to us, not seeing ourselves as failures, embracing each step of our process, restrategizing to get better.
When you are at bay internally with yourself and , then goals are better reached, potentials are better developed, relationships are better valued, journeys are better appreciated, talents are better nurtured!
