MY NIGERIA ROAD EXPERIENCE

When the thought of travelling back to Jos, Plateau state came to my mind, I was like "must I go back to this place?" Why did I felt bothered you may ask? Why won't I be bothered when I know that the road I am to travel through should be anybody's worst nightmare but sorry it was my reality.
I am always baffled when I think of travelling through Nigeria roads, I don't know if you have noticed that it is only in Nigeria that you travel within a state and it looks as if you are travelling between countries.
Oh! Okay this was how it all went down. I started my journey from Ilorin at about some minutes after 8 in the morning. I was already in Jebba which is the boundary of Kwara and Niger state around 10am but this is the worst part of my story because I spent nothing less than seven (7) hours travelling within the almighty Niger state.

Why did I call it "Almighty" you may ask; this is a state characterised by large expanse of land and bad roads with little or no major development at all with the whole democratic ruling wahala. The thought running through my mind was that the government should have divided the state into two, so we would know we are travelling through two states and not one.
What got me worried was that I have been plying that road for years and it keeps getting worse day by day. Then I ask myself if that road is the responsibility of the federal government or the state government, but not minding who to blame, the road is in a terrible state; Imagine! How would you use almost eight (8) hours travelling within a state.
I just hope the government in power rise to this situation and salvage it. I know this is the experience of many Nigeria road users.
I know you want more but don't let me bore you with too much stories.
Now I am always considering if I would travel through that road again, I think flight is calling on me and I will answer the call, I need to start flying now but caution; not with the invisible plane oo, lol; but the aeroplane.
Guys share your Nigeria Road experience in the comment section.
Thanks for reading, one love.
